2015 Green Scenes: Environmental Short Film Festival

CALLING FILM MAKERS

The Gladstone Arts Council is looking forward to the launch of the 2015 Green Scenes: Environmental Short Film Festival project.

Initiated in 2008, this annual event is hosted in conjunction with Gladstone Regional Council's EcoFest celebrations.

Each year, the Gladstone Arts Council calls for entries from groups or individuals of all ages and levels of experience, to submit an environmentally messaged short film.

This year, the call is going out for all film makers to create a short film no longer than 90 seconds in length, excluding the credits, which reflects the local 2015 EcoFest theme: Grown in Gladstone.

Entries close Wednesday May 27 and all films will be on display Sunday May 31, in the Visitors Centre Gallery at Tondoon Botanic Gardens during EcoFest with the prize winners announced on the main stage, during the event.

Entry forms will soon be available from the Gallery & Museum, as well as other offices, venues and libraries of Gladstone Regional Council.
